Florence isn't a museum you visit — it's a living city that absorbs you. On October 24th, while autumn turns the hills amber and the summer crowds have thinned, our group gets Florence at its absolute best. We arrive at Piazza del Duomo before the tour buses fill the square. We stand in front of the real David. We wander Piazza della Signoria like Florentines. Leo and George got their wedding bands on Ponte Vecchio. And we end at Piazzale Michelangelo — aperitivo in hand — watching the whole city glow gold.
